Another Chance To Succeed · A Commitment To Serve
ACTS Ministry
The A.C.T.S. Ministry was established to extend a helping hand to those in the community who are in need of basic needs — food, clothing, and toiletries — because of the circumstances they find themselves in. Maggie Street wants to help those around us and give them a chance to succeed as we have had the opportunity to serve.
About this ministry
The church became a member of the Montgomery Area Food Bank in November 2008. During the remaining months of that year the Pastor and the church family embraced the work: new clothing donations arrived from the Pastor, food donations poured into the church, and financial gifts were received for individuals who were homeless. During the first two months of its inception, ACTS provided service to 111 families, or 374 individuals.
By the ministry's first anniversary in November 2009, 1,152 families had received services through food boxes, clothing donations, and toiletries. From its inception in 2008 through September 2015, ACTS provided 12,973 bags of groceries, as well as clothing and toiletries, to the community.
Service has been provided to people of many different circumstances: homeless individuals, fire victims, flood victims, cancer patients, stroke and heart attack victims, disabled and special-needs individuals, senior citizens, young mothers, veterans, victims of domestic violence, and individuals with no income.
Members and visitors alike are welcome. There is no audition for willingness — come once, see what the work looks like, and decide from there.

Music Ministry
Simply put, music ministry is a service to God that supports the sermon by leading the congregation through praise and worship. Our team focuses on helping the church bring praise and honor to God.
